A note on the title: It is--for those who may be wondering--a selection from Coleridge's "Rime of the Ancient Mariner". These lines, however, are also apt descriptors of the current situation in rural Bangladesh, where the supply of well water is contaminated with toxic levels of naturally occurring arsenic. Moreover, standing water is also unsafe due to its inherent microbial content. Thus, water sources are ever-present, but few of these provide water that is safe for everyday consumption.

marigolds make me think of monsoon wedding :)
Hooray! They made me think of that too. I still think it's weird if you eat them, though.
Your room looks pretty, though, even with no decorations. It's no cinder block walls and fake wood wardrobe, but hopefully it will work for you.
